We collect information in three ways:

• Information you provide. Account details such as your name, email address, and password; business details you enter (business name, hours, phone, services); and messages or change requests you submit.
• Information from connected services. When you connect a review platform or business profile, we receive the reviews, ratings, and responses associated with your business.
• Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as device and browser type, IP address, and usage events, used to keep the service secure and working.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the EdgeFox website and review services;
• Surface your reviews, insights, and competitive comparisons;
• Build, host, and update the websites we manage for you;
• Communicate with you about your account, requests, and service updates;
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your business data to advertise to you.

We share information only as needed to run the service: with vendors who process data on our behalf (such as hosting, database, email delivery, and payment providers) under confidentiality obligations; when required by law or to protect our rights and users; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. Each customer’s data is kept separate, and we do not share one customer’s data with another.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

You can:

• Access and update your profile details from your account settings;
• Delete your account from your account settings, which removes your personal data;
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete information, by emailing us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights where they apply.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation so each business’s data stays separate. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

EdgeFox is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
